Giving bodywork felt like the inevitable next step.

In learning to love myself deeply, to soothe my anxious mind, to come home to a body I'd ignored for years, talk therapy was helpful. Books were helpful. Creative practices were helpful.

But I can say without a shadow of a doubt that some of the most powerful experiences of healing I've ever had were on a massage table.

Once, a Reiki healer held my feet so reverently that I wept.

Another time, a friend of mine dug his elbow into a knot in my back, releasing tension I didn't know I was holding.

I've felt laughter rise and found renewed lightness and hope. I've reconnected with my sense of safety and delight with the help of many talented practitioners.

So I studied Soul Touch Therapy, exploring fascia manipulation, breathwork, nervous system regulation, and more to complement my own years of sharing bodywork with friends and family.
